Bio
Ailis Oliver-Kerby holds a Master of Arts in Music Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London. In London, Ailis originated the role of Bobbi Melrose in the world premiere of Joshua Rosenblum and Joanne Lessner’s new musical ‘Stage Door.’ She appeared in the Court Theatre production of Chicago, understudying the role of Roxie Hart. Other performance highlights include Echelon Productions’ New Zealand tour, Pippi Longstockings (Tim Bray Productions), Oh Dear What Can The Matter Be? (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama), and Cissy in Punk Rock (Fortune Theatre). Ailis is passionate about New Zealand Music Theatre, having completed her Master’s dissertation on the impact of the New Zealand accent on singers.
