Bio
Described as the combination of Zac Efron and Chris Evans, Aleksandr Staprans is an actor that jumps at the chance for an adventure. After travelling the world from 2018-2020, Aleksandr moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for acting. He immediately became immersed in the community and spent time on sets for both Showtime and Amazon.
In April 2020, Aleksandr moved back to New Zealand. He has since worked with some of the most prominent coaches in the country. In February 2021 he was cast as Brick in a local production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and in 2022 he played the villain Will Roberts on New Zealand’s much loved series Shortland Street for South Pacific Pictures. While his theatre experience is expansive, his focus is very much on film and television.
Aleksandr has US Citizenship, EU Citizenship and New Zealand Residency.
