Bio
Alex has had a successful start to his on screen career. Starting with leads in two TV miniseries: Tatau and When We Go to War, both released in 2015, he then joined core casts for Common Ground and 800 Words. Soon after, Tarrant appeared as a lead in the NZ drama, Filthy Rich.
A graduate of Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School, Alex is a passionate theatre practitioner and deviser, having performed in the acclaimed Masi: The Conch, at the 2012 New Zealand International Arts Festival. He also toured globally with Red Leap Theatre's The Arrival.
Alex is a keen dancer, rugby fan and proficient Te Reo speaker. In 2018, he was cast in Shortland Street as Doctor Lincoln Fielder.
