Bio

Anne March recently won Best Actress at the Australian Women's International Film Festival for her sensitive and uplifting lead performance of a young mother struggling to accept her baby who has Down syndrome, in the short film I SEE YOU (2024) directed by Briar March (There Once Was an Island). Having just finished a short course of Fundamentals (Advanced, Blended) at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, she is now continuing her training at Jon Hunter Acting Studio and working in Auckland.

Anne's other notable screen roles include playing: magnetic ASMR artist Kookie_ASMR in Tom Levesque's SHUT EYE (2022), which Graeme Tuckett called "an absolute gem right out of the gate" after its debut at the NZIFF; Ophelia-inspired Sophia Turner in The Candle Wasters' TRAGICOMIC (2018); and teenaged home invader sidekick Hailee in Kenneth Chapman's SISTER, PLEASE (2018). She also had a number of roles both on- and backstage in the semi-professional Stray Theatre Company at the University of Auckland.
