Bio
Ariāna Osborne (Ngāti Mutunga and Te Āti Haunui-a-Pāpārangi), has conversational fluency in Te Reo Māori and advanced proficiency in Japanese. In 2017, Ariāna earned her Bachelor of Arts degree (BA), with a major in Acting, from Toi Whakaari, New Zealand's premier drama school.
Most recently she played Tui, in Tavake’s Madam for Three and Three Now, starring Rachel Griffiths and Martin Henderson.
Ariāna’s other screen highlights include the tele-feature In a Flash, directed by Ric Pellizzeri, New Zealand's most popular series Shortland Street and feature films Samara, directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Logan Marshall, and the Kiwi comedy feature Millie Lies Low, under the direction of Michelle Saville.
Beyond screens, Ariāna has collaborated with theatre companies such as Red Leap (Dakota and the White Flats and Dust Pilgrim) and Te Pou (The Cradle Song and Temperance).
She has two exciting projects upcoming in 2025.
