Bio
Maori/Welsh actor Baz Te Hira grew up in Otara, New Zealand and of Te Rarawa decent. Baz has been working in the creative industries since the early 90s where he has worked across many of New Zealand’s iconic Films including Once Were Warriors, River Queen, The Dark Horse, Waru & In Dark Places. TV series include Hercules, Xena: Warrior Princess, Interrogation, The Sounds and most recently an extended stint on New Zealand’s top rating soap Shortland Street. Baz is about to hit the screens on the new Series – We Are Still Here the role of Willie Wilson for Te Kotukutuku productions.
