Bio
Duane has been acting since he was three years old, he is best known in New Zealand for his role on the drama series Shortland Street where he was a fan-favourite four years running as Michael Hampton Rees.
He spent nine months living & working in the US playing Rotxo in the James Cameron directed feature film franchise Avatar. He acquired new skills including working underwater, with a green screen, and stunts.
Other screen highlights include roles in the award-winning short film Ebony Society, feature films Fantail, Billy and The Legend of Baron To’a. Series include Power Rangers: Ninja Steel, The New Legends of Monkey with The Night Agent breakout Luciane Buchanan, Duckrockers, and the hit apocalyptic Netflix series Sweet Tooth.
Duane speaks fluent Te Reo and has a long history of competing in Kapa Haka competitions and performing on stage.
