Bio
Heto Ah Hi is a New Zealand actor of Samoan and Tokelauan descent. He graduated from New Zealand’s leading Drama School: Toi Whakaari in 1994 with a Bachelor of Performing Arts Degree. Heto can speak both Samoan & Tokelauan and has a strong connection to his Pacific heritage, he has worked extensively in theatre, film and television and known for his charismatic and versatile performances.
Theatre highlights include; New Zealand tours of Naked Samoans and returning to perform The Naked Samoans Do Magic for The Conch directed by Nina Nawalowalo, Black Faggot a Multinesia Production directed by Roy Ward and Dawn Raids for New Pacific Underground, directed by Oscar Kightley.
Film highlights include; Sione’s Wedding 1 & 2 playing the lead role of Stanley for South Pacific Pictures, Matariki directed by Michael Bennett & Toke for Screentime Productions. Local Series include; Dirty Laundry, Fresh Housewives of South Auckland and most recently the highly rated comedy drama Duckrockers playing the role of Tino for South Pacific Pictures.
