Bio
New Zealand actor Jacqueline Joe won critical acclaim for her breakout perfromance as pregnant 12-year-old Tui in Oscar-winning director, Dame Jane Campion’s Top of the Lake. Following that she went on to play the lead in the award winning short film Cradle – named best short at the 2016 New Zealand Show Me Shorts Festival. At 16, she starred alongside Willow Shields in the 2017 feature film Into the Rainbow. She then reprised her role of Tui Mitcham for the second season of Top of the Lake.
Her television credits include three seasons of Mystic (Libertine Pictures), in which she plays Caroline Burford, a guest role on Power Rangers as Fern, and as Sam in International Emmy-winning mini-series, INSiDE.
Jacqui is an advanced runner and swimmer. When not acting, she enjoys parkour and playing rugby league.
She is represented by Echo Lake Management in the US.
