Bio
Jen Van Epps is an American born bi-racial actor of African American & Chinese Taiwanese descent who worked and trained for many years in the United States before relocating with her family in 2018 on a whim. With her US accent and training Jen hit the ground running not only as an actor but has been stepping into Casting & Dialogue Assistant on the many US productions filming in New Zealand.
Jen’s International screen credits include Amazon’s - The Wilds & Don’t Make Me Go, Netflix - Cowboy Bebop & The Royal Treatment, Nickelodeon – Power Rangers, Apple TV – Mr Corman, Hallmark – Together Forever Tea and Hulu’s 20th Century Studio – No Exit. In 2023 she will be on the screen in the Blumhouse/Universal feature film M3gan.
Locally she has worked on Stage for The Pop-Up Globe Theatre, voiced a quirky Panda on Tales of Nai Nai (Hei Hei), guest role on the award winning TVNZ1 series Runaway Millionaires and currently on the highly rated TVNZ1 series One Lane Bridge which also screens in the US, Australia & Europe
Jen resides in Auckland with her husband and daughter and speaks advanced Mandarin.
