Bio
Johanna Cosgrove is an award-winning actor, comedian and writer. Having trained at Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School and at Ecole Phillipe Gaulier in Paris, her solo show AUNTY picked up multiple accolades and toured internationally to sellout crowds. A rising star in the NZ comedy scene, Johanna’s brand-new works Hi Delusion! and ICONOCLAST debuted in the last 12 months to rave reviews. Johanna is co-host of the cult-hit podcast 'Rats in the Gutter' and co-founded award-winning social enterprise Nopesisters Clothing. Johanna has been a full-time television writer on NZ’s longest running medical drama Shortland Street and in 2022 published her debut poetry collection ‘Crying on the Phone’.
