Bio
Lance Ainofo is an exceptional Samoan actor who has a knack for portraying complex characters that are grounded, sensitive, and playful. Before graduating from New Zealand’s top drama school Toi Whakaari in 2019, Lance was a highly sought after hairdresser in Auckland and Wellington. Since then, he has flexed his extensive musical theatre muscles in productions around the country such as Rent, That Bloody Woman, and Hairspray, as well as on screen in New Zealand/Australian feature film co-production We Are Still Here, which won the Dramatic Feature Award at the 2022 ImagineNative Film + Media Arts Festival.
On top of his advanced singing and dancing skills, Lance excels at keyboard, piano, and volleyball, and is an advanced Samoan speaker.
