Latham Gaines is an accomplished and versatile actor celebrated for his performances in theatre, film, and television.
Raised on the East Coast of the US, he moved to New Zealand in 1995, where he quickly began working in numerous productions with Auckland Theatre Company including 12 Angry Men, The Graduate, Julius Ceasar, and Cabaret.
Latham has an impressive acting resume, appearing in local and international productions such as Irish/NZ co-production The Gone as Colin Friends, episode lead Jim Hood, in Murder is Forever, and Edward in The Cult, for which he was nominated for Best Actor in a Television Series at the Qantas Film and TV Awards.
He can be seen next in comedy, horror, romance film Heart Eyes, directed by Josh Ruben (Scare Me) alongside Devon Sawa.
Other exciting work includes roles on Bridge to Terabithia, Peter Jackson’s King Kong, The World’s Fastest Indian starring Anthony Hopkins, and Law & Order (USA).
