Bio
New Zealand born Chinese Actor Lisa Zhang made her screen debut as Jiayue on Inked (2021) by Mingjian Cui, the first NZonAir funded Chinese-bilingual show in Aotearoa.
Lisa was accepted into the New Zealand acting intensive school, The Actors Program, in 2022 and made her theatre debut the following year as Lily in How To Throw A Chinese Funeral by Jill Kwan. The show was the winner of Playmarket’s Asian Ink in 2021, and performed in English and Cantonese, running a successful sold-out two week season.
Lisa has since appeared on screen as Aubert in the NZonAir funded web-series Literally Dead, and looks forward to some cool projects releasing in 2025
