Bio
Loren Taylor is best known for the role of Lily in Eagle vs Shark. She has been acting in film, television and theatre since she was seventeen - beginning her career with guest roles in Xena and Young Hercules before moving into lead roles in TV series' Atlantis High, The Strip and The Insider's Guide to Happiness.
Loren worked with Taika Waititi on their award-winning screenplay for Eagle vs Shark. Loren also won Best Actress for her leading role in Eagle vs Shark at the Newport International Film Festival, and the St Tropez Festival de Antipodes. She has had roles in NZ/Aotearoa films and TV - The Changeover, This Town, Baby Done, After the Party, and Top of the Lake alongside Elizabeth Moss. She also appeared in Howl's The Mysterious Secrets of Uncle Bertie’s Botanarium and two episodes of Aussie kid's show Bluey.
Loren has recently devoted herself to her own projects - her NZFC feature film The Moon is Upside Down won her the Best First Feature award at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
