Bio
Mark Sole is a New Zealand actor born from Christchurch who began his professional training at the Hagley Theatre Company before moving to Auckland to study at Unitec. He graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts (BA) and has since built a burgeoning career as a character actor.
Mark has appeared in numerous local and international productions, including the New Zealand series Black Hands, Kura, Shortland Street, and The Brokenwood Mysteries. Internationally, he has featured in Ash vs Evil Dead (Starz USA), The Luminaries (BBC UK), The Sounds (CBC Canada/Acorn TV), and played a major support role in Sweet Tooth S2 on Netflix. His film credits include Guns Akimbo (Netflix & 4 Knight Films), The Convert directed by multi-award winner Lee Tamahori, and the upcoming psychological drama Restitution directed by Hayden Washington-Smith.
Mark also has advanced defensive stunt driving skills, adeptly maneuvering various vehicles at high speeds. He aspires to integrate this talent with his acting career in the near future.
