Bio

After graduating from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School in 2019, Maté set his sights on Auckland, where he continues to hone his craft. Maté’s commitment to growth extends beyond the screen. Since moving to Auckland, he has pursued further training, attending workshops, refining his skills, and collaborating with industry professionals. 

Screen highlights include; US series One Of Us Is Lying (Netflix) and The Wilds (Amazon Prime) as well as New Zealand’s leading drama series Shortland Street (South Pacific Pictures).
