Bio
Omar Al-Sobky is a charismatic and dynamic actor of NZ European and Middle Eastern descent currently based in Auckland.
He has numerous NZ screen credits, notably excelling in comedy, including being cast as Cameron Slater in Princess of Chaos starring Xana Tang, Housebound by M3GAN director Gerard Johnstone, season two of Creamerie, and International Emmy Award-winning miniseries INSiDE starring Morgana O’Reilly (Housebound, The White Lotus S3, Friends Like Her).
He is the Executive Producer for UFC hall-of-famer, Israel Adasanya’s documentary, Stylebender.
Omar speaks intermediate Arabic and Egyptian, and has advanced skills in boxing, shooting, and weight-lifting.
