Rachael is a New Zealand born Writer, Producer and Actress, who has worked steadliy in the U.S. film industry for the past eight years. Rachael trained at TAPAC, The Actors Lab, The Actors Program and The Groundlings Theatre & School. Beginning her career with Acting in New Zealand as a child, performing in Drama classes and Theatre, then onto studying under acclaimed Coaches Peter Feeney, Vicky Yiannoutsos, Fiona Edgar and Miranda Harcourt. Her Filmmaking debut earned her a LAIFFA Award at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, for 'For Your Birthday' (2017) and a placement as a Semi-finalist in ScreenCraft's 2022 TV Pilot Screenplay competition, for 'Genesee' (2022), securing her a spot on Coverfly's coveted Red List. Rachael's U.S. Acting career began in 2017, booking roles in multiple award winning Indie Films, while she simultaneously honed her Writing skills under Screenwriter Josh A. Cagan (The Duff). Rachael continued developing her skills as a Screenwriter and Filmmaker, earning high industry praise for her work. Rachael has gone on to create multiple original pieces, a strong Editor - often writing, shooting, producing and editing her projects herself. She has gained multiple awards on the Indie Film circuit and participated in film festivals, including Raindance Film Festival and Roger Corman's "Corman Quarantine Film Festival". With her current genres of choice as a writer being Comedy, Dark Comedy and Drama. Rachael believes in the importance of storytelling and takes every opportunity to be a part of or create a new project, with enthusiasm, dedication and pride.
