Bio
Rawiri’s first major role on Aotearoa’s screens was in 2010, when he co-starred in Step Dave as Azza. Notable roles followed in The Brokenwood Mysteries as Kahu Taylor & for two years on New Zealand’s much loved soap Shortland Street where he played the troubled yet genial Eddie Adams. Between screen productions, Rawiri has demonstrated a passionate commitment to theatre and interspersed his drama roles with productions such as the Te Rēhia Theatre Company’s Te Ruia Kakano, and the presenter in Earth Dinosaur Zoo which toured NZ, Australia & USA. Rawiri will be returning to our screens on Season 2 of the highly rated Television series My Life is Murder playing the charming and yet resolute homicide detective, Harry Fletcher alongside Lucy Lawless.
