Bio
Rebecca Gibney is one of Australia and New Zealand’s most beloved and respected actresses.
Rebecca is currently in production for two projects; Greenstone TV’s upbeat musical comedy HAPPINESS, airing on TV3 and the Acorn TV/TVNZ series A REMARKABLE PLACE TO DIE. She most recently starred in the Stan drama series PROSPER with Richard Roxburgh and will next be seen starring in the third season of the popular Acorn TV/TVNZ series UNDER THE VINES which she also executive produced.
Rebecca’s notable and award winning television credits include the Amazon Prime series BACK TO THE RAFTERS, popular Network Seven series PACKED TO THE RAFTERS for which she won the Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality, the acclaimed Network Seven series WANTED in which she co-created, produced and starred in, HALIFAX: RETRIBUTION and HALIFAX F.P., THE FLYING DOCTORS and ALL TOGETHER NOW.
Her notable film credits include LOWDOWN DIRTY CRIMINALS, LUCKY BREAK, CLUBLAND, THE DRESSMAKER with Kate Winslet, and MENTAL with Toni Collette for which she won an Australian Film Critics award for Best Supporting Actress.
