Bio
NZ-born Tongan filmmaker and actor Richard Sikuea began his creative journey in the mid-2000s as a dancer and coach in the NZ Hip Hop scene, representing New Zealand internationally at the World Hip Hop Championships with Dziah Dance Academy and The Palace Dance Studio.
After a nearly decade-long break working as a Missionary, Youth Worker and Corrections Officer at Mount Eden Prison, Richard returned to the arts to pursue acting with a renewed sense of purpose and storytelling.
His life experience grounds his work in authenticity, allowing him to bring depth and humanity to every role.
