Roxie Mohebbi is of Middle Eastern descent. Roxie initially trained as a nurse then rediscovered her passion for performance, since then, she has achieved great success in her acting career.
Screen highlights include; US series Power Rangers: Beast Morphers (Discovery Channel), The New Legends of Monkey Season II (Netflix), New Zealand’s leading Soap Shortland Street (South Pacific Pictures), drama series One Lane Bridge S3 (Great Southern TV & Film) which was picked up by Sundance Now USA & Acorn TV UK, soon to be released new Television Series Miles from Nowhere (Gibson Group) and the comedy web-series Kid Sister (Greenstone TV) where Roxie will reprise her role of Sina in Series 2.
Upcoming feature films include; New Zealand Film Commissions (NZFC) The Moon is Upside Down written & directed by Loren Taylor (Eagle vs Shark) and Head South where we will see Roxie play the role of Holly alongside internationally acclaimed New Zealand actor Marton Csokas (LOTR, Spiderman, Star Wars) & popstar Benee, the film is set in Christchurch New Zealand 1979 post-punk music scene.
