Bio
Scott Wills is a graduate from Toi Whakaari, NZ Drama School. Upon graduating he won the Best Male Newcomer Theatre award, for his role in the iconic British play 'Mojo'. He has worked extensively in theatre since taking major roles in such iconic classics as 'Trainspotting', 'Danny & The Deep Blue Sea', Neal labute's 'The Shape of Things', 'Beautiful Losers' as the American icon Neal Cassady, and most recently as Bob Ewell in 'To Kill a Mockingbird' for The Akld Theatre Co.
The award winning Feature Films 'Stickmen' and 'Apron Strings' brought him to prominence, the former gaining him a mention in Screen International magazine as one to watch. For both these films he won the N.Z. Film Awards gong for Best Male Actor. He has taken roles in other Features such as NZ's 'Pork Pie', 'Boogeyman' and the International features 'Light Between The Oceans' by Derek Cianfrance and 'Perfect Creature' by Glen Standring respectively alongside actors Michael Wassbender and Dougray Scott.
Scott has also worked extensively in television taking significant or series leads for both comedy and drama in 'Interrogation', the mini series 'Doves of War', 'The Cult', the Australian franchise, 'Underbelly', 'Westside', 'Dirty Laundry', 'Stolen', 'Safehouse', 'Legend of the Seeker' and most recently in the American productions of 'The Making of The Mob 2' and 'American Playboy'.
