Deadline announced the casting news for Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone’s upcoming Netflix series, God's Favourite Idiot. 

McCarthy and Falcone will also star in the series with Yanic Truesdale (Gilmore Girls), Usman Ally (68 Whiskey) and Chris Sandiford (What We Do in the Shadows) joining the supporting cast. 

In the series, mid level tech support employee Clark Thompson (Falcone) finds love with co-worker Amily Luck (McCarthy) at exactly the same time he becomes the unwitting messenger of God.

Ana will be playing Wendy. In a nutshell, Wendy is a giver – of presents, advice, and anything she thinks might help another person. And while her attempts at consoling others often miss their mark, the group relies on Wendy’s empathy to guide them down the righteous path.

Ana's breakout performance in the 2018 hit feature film, The Breaker Upperers captured the world’s hearts. She will soon be hitting the big screen again as Mata in the feature film Cousins, adapted from the novel by Patricia Grace. Cousins is set to be released March 4th.
