Davida McKenzie appears in festive comedy 'Silent Night'

Davida McKenzie stars in Christmas comedy, ‘Silent Night’. The film centers on Nell and Simon, played by Keira Knightley and Matthew Goode, a privileged couple who live in the English countryside with their three sons. The film follows the family as they prepare for the arrival of their college pals and their families for Christmas dinner.

Camille Griffin makes her directorial feature film debut from her own original screenplay. Her real life sons, Roman Griffin Davis (star of Taika Waititi’s Oscar-winning film Jojo Rabbit) and his younger twin brothers Hardy and Gilby play the sons of Knightley and Goode.

“Camille’s script is haunting and original – I was immediately captivated when I read it. I am very excited to be supporting her directorial debut and I can’t wait to make this film alongside Celine and Trudie.” said Matthew Vaughn for Deadline.

Davida made lifelong friends with Roman Griffin Davis on the set of 'Jojo Rabbit’ when she visited her big sister Thomasin McKenzie on the set in Prague. She jumped at the opportunity to act with Roman and his two brothers. Davida said in a recent Stuff article, "I really wanted to do this film because Roman, Hardy and Gilby are my best friends and I wanted to be with them for a long time.”

The Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye called Davida “a golden find”.

Silent Night is available to stream on iTunes, Youtube and GooglePlay.
