Disorder documentary shares powerful stories

Disorder, directed by Miryam Jacobi, is shedding some much needed light on what it's like to live with an eating disorder in New Zealand.

The documentary was created in the hope that it will reach those who need to see it and to help unearth shame and stigma around eating disorders by educating people about the reality of living with these conditions.

Alongside six women, Jack Barry shares his touching experience about the negative effect comparison can have on one's mental state.

Disorder worked in collaboration with Nope Sisters to create the 'Any Size' tee featured in the film, with the proceeds going towards EDANZ.

The poetry was voiced by Anais Shand
