GCM actress Thomasin Mckenzie has joined the cast of Edgar Wright’s (Baby Driver) upcoming film Last Night in Soho.  The feature film will also star Matt Smith (Doctor Who) and is said to be simultaneously set in a 1960s setting and modern day. 

Thomasin will play a fashion student living in New York in the modern segments of the film. Not much else is currently known about the film though it has been dubbed a “psychological thriller.”

This announcement comes the weekend of McKenzie attending the Film Independent Spirit Awards in Los Angeles in which she was nominated for “Best Supporting Actress” for her role in Leave No Trace.
