Jodie's first short film 'Blood and Gold', directed by Yamin Tun and produced by Morgan Leigh Stewart, premiered at the Show Me Shorts Festival in 2021 where it was nominated for four awards and awarded Jodie Best Actor.
After receiving a Seed Grant in 2020 Jodie wrote the first feature draft of 'Where the River Runs'. In 2021 Jodie was a participant in Script to Screens Story Camp and in 2023 received a NZFC Early Development fund. The film is expected to be in Production early 2024
