Bio
Albert Latailakepa is a Samoan-Tongan actor based in Aotearoa New Zealand. He graduated from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting and has since worked across both screen and stage.
Albert’s screen credits include Wellington Paranormal (TVNZ), created by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, and Far North (TVNZ), where he played Thugga alongside Temuera Morrison and Robyn Malcolm. In 2023, he joined the cast of Hulu and Disney+ series The Artful Dodger as Aputi Savea, acting alongside David Thewlis and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. He will return for Season 2 in 2025.
While his focus is on screen, Albert also maintains a strong presence in theatre. His recent stage work includes The Worm with Nightsong Theatre and Auckland Live, performing alongside industry icons such as Dave Fane (ONZM), Bronwyn Bradley, and Anapela Polata'ivao (ONZM) and O le pepelo, le Gaoi, me le Pala’ai (The Liar, The Their and the Coward) directed by Nathaniel Lees & Natano Filipo.
