Bio

Alisha Jacob is a 23-year-old actor based in Melbourne, Australia. She is currently one of the leads in Balloon Dog, the latest production from Indian Ink Theatre Company, previewing in November 2025 and touring nationally and internationally in 2026, including a season at the Sydney Opera House.

While training at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, she played the titular role in Antigone, devised her own solo show, and collaborated with internationally acclaimed choreographer-director Ross McCormack on Mimic Another.

In her graduating year (2023), Alisha starred in Blue Lights, a one-take short film, and co-created and featured in Flowers of Eventide. Most recently, she wrapped a two-hander short film, Hire A Wife, opposite Dean O’Gorman, due for release later this year.

Beyond the stage and screen, Alisha narrated the audiobook Fake Baby for Radio New Zealand and has modelled for brands including Annie and Sum of its Parts.

Alisha is driven by a pursuit of excellence in craft and storytelling with heart.
