Davida Mckenzie is an emerging actor from New Zealand. Davida has worked with a variety of directors including Jane Campion, Luc Besson, Vincent Ward and recently with director Camille Griffin on "Silent Night" (2020) in an acclaimed performance opposite Keira Knightley, Roman Griffin Davis, Matthew Goode, Lily-Rose Depp, and Lucy Punch. “Scene-stealing New Zealand-born actress Davida McKenzie… shines in black, bleak festive comedy"
Davida has appeared in the TV comedy, “Mean Mums” (2019) for South Pacific Pictures; as lead role Abby in the short film, “Turtle Bank Hustler” directed by Steve McGillen and in “Bottle Money” by Rebekah Tyler.
Davida's grandmother Dame Kate Harcourt was appointed that honor for her lifelong contributions to the performing arts industry, while Davida’s parents Stuart McKenzie and Miranda Harcourt are also renowned for their work in theatre and film. Her sister Thomasin McKenzie was awarded NBR’s Breakthrough Award in 2019 for her lead role in Debra Granik’s “Leave No Trace.”
