Bio
Jaygar Ewart (Ngāti Kahungunu) is a passionate actor currently based in Auckland with his young family.
He has multiple credits on stage and screen, notably in a major guest role, Teina, on NZ’s leading prime-time drama, Shortland Street, Troy Kingi’s “Ethiopia” music video, and Peter Jackson’s Quinn’s Post: The Great War Exhibition.
He refines his craft in workshops with prominent acting tutors in New Zealand, such as Miranda Harcourt, Brita McVeigh, and Jon Hunter. He is active and athletic, and speaks intermediate Te Reo Māori.
