Bio
Jennifer Onyeiwu is a New Zealand based actor of African & Brazilian descent. She completed A BHSc: Health Promotion degree at Auckland University of Technology in of Technology in 2017. Embracing her long-standing passion for acting, in 2018 she attended the renowned Atlantic Acting School in New York City, where she immersed herself in rigorous training. Continuing her commitment to growth and artistic development, Jennifer has enrolled at the T Schreiber Studio for 2023, also located in New York City.
Screen highlights include; ABC/Amazon The Wild & The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Netflix series Cowboy Bebop, Sweet Tooth & One Of Us Is Lying. This year will see Jennifer back on our screens in an HBO Max Comedy series soon to be announced.
Theatre highlights include; The Kamasutra Chronicles, Proof & The Vagina Monologues for Pumphouse Theatre winning 2021 Best Female in a Leading Role in at the Auckland Theatre Awards
Through her commitment to pursuing training at renowned institutions, Jennifer constantly expands her repertoire, and her network whilst honing her craft and ensuring she is equipped to deliver captivating performances that reflect her diverse background and unique talent.
