Bio
Pamela Sidhu is an actor and model on the rise, embracing her cultural diversity as a New Zealand artist of Indian, Dutch and Italian descent.
Originally a classical and contemporary trained dancer, she is no stranger to performance. A graduate of the New Zealand School of Dance Pamela has danced with national companies Black Grace and the New Zealand Dance Company, and has performed internationally with Disney’s The Lion King (Australia and Netherlands) from 2013-2018.
In 2020 Pamela graduated with a Diploma in Acting from Aucklands leading drama school The Actors Program (TAP).
She has since accumulated numerous screen highlights as series regular Misha Prasad in NZ hospital drama Shortland Street, Greta in Great Southern Television’s Spinal Destination, Karishma in South Pacific Picture’s The Brokenwood Mysteries and upcoming in Acorn TV and Screentime’s A Remarkable Place to Die, as well as performing in award winning web series Sui Generis, by Roberto Nascimento and short film Space Invaders by Isaac Bell, where she was nominated for Best Oceania Actress in the 2022 Septimius Awards.
Her stage credits include Albert Belz Hyperspace, whose premiere was presented in 2024 by Te Pou Theatre and Auckland Theatre Company.
