Acushla-Tara Kupe to lead in new mystery series The Gone

Acushla-Tara Kupe and Richard Flood have been cast as leads in The Gone, a gripping new mystery series that brings together Irish and Māori culture. The pair will front the series, shooting in Auckland and Te Aroha in New Zealand and Dublin, Ireland.

Acushla stars as Kiwi cop Diana Huia who teams with Irish detective Theo Richter (Flood) to find a young Irish couple who vanish from an infamous rural North Island New Zealand town. Amidst the search and race against time, the paur have to contend with a community's growing disquit that the disappearaces may be linked to a series of historical murders. 

Acushla most recently appeared as Susan Corman in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Apple TV+series Mr Corman and comedy drama series Under the Vines. Flood has just come off a three-year run on ABC's Greys Anatomy and a two season run of Shameless.
