Bio
British-born Callum Brodie is an award-winning Auckland-based actor, producer, artistic director, and writer.
In the UK he was a founding member, actor, and associate director of the critically acclaimed theatre company, The Handlebards, in which he portrayed approximately 60 characters in hundreds of theatre performances across 13 countries. Callum has been very fortunate to have worked with practitioners from the RSC, the Globe, the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company, and Adam Spiegel Productions.
In 2021 he formed the production company, Boyd and Brodie Production. Their first theatre production Waiting for Waiting for Godot also starred Acushla Tara-Kupe (The Gone) and was directed by Michael Hurst.
Alongside his numerous stage credits, Callum’s screen performances include One of Us is Lying (Peacock), Brexit: The Uncivil War starring Benedict Cumberbatch, and Downton Abbey.
Callum has advanced skills in clown and is represented in the UK by Kew Personal Management.
