Set in and around a Sydney high school Bump centers on Oly, played by Nathalie, an ambitious and high-achieving teenager who has a surprise pregnancy. The series follows the complications that then ensure for the two families.
Bump also stars Claudia Karvan, who plays Nathalie’s Mum and is a producer on the series. “Bump feels truthful, funny and alive. It has a strong sense of place and its examination of intimate relationships is surprising and unsettlingly recognisable which is testament to the talent and honesty of our writers. I can’t wait to play Angie and be a part of this new Latino/Anglo family, brought together by a shocking, cryptic teen pregnancy no less.” says Claudia.
Since graduating Toi Whakaari in 2018, Nathalie has been cast in notable roles across film and television including NZ drama series, One Lane Bridge, US horror film, Black Christmas and US series Almost Paradise. Landing the lead role of Oly in Bump gives Nathalie the opportunity to return to her home country of Australia before she returns to film the second series of One Land Bridge early next year.
